Do I need a plumber to install an under sink water filter?
For the UFX3 and RO Mineral+, yes — a dedicated tap is fitted at the sink and the system connects to the cold feed. Fixed-rate installation ($299) can be added at checkout. The Smart RO benchtop needs no plumbing.

Under sink or under bench — is there a difference?
No, they're the same thing: a filter mounted in the cupboard below the kitchen sink, feeding a separate filtered water tap.

Does an under sink filter remove fluoride?
Only the reverse osmosis option (RO Mineral+) does. The UFX3 removes chlorine, PFAS and bacteria but lets fluoride through.

How often do the cartridges need changing?
UFX3: stage 1 every 6 months, stages 2 and 3 yearly. RO Mineral+: yearly. Replacement cartridges are available individually or on a subscription that saves 10%, and we email you when a change is due.

Can I use my existing kitchen tap?
