Producing water with a higher pH, these have been tested and shown to produce water anywhere from 7.8 – 8.5 pH and increase vital minerals.

This cartridge has a Polyspun filter which offers a layer of pre-filtration (sediment) and alkaline ceramic balls. This cartridge is designed to produce alkaline water and not offer a high level of filtration, we recommend using this with pre-filtered water or at best municipal tap water.

Ahlstrom Nanofibre Electro Adsorptive Technology. Designed for exceptional performance, this advanced filter has cutting-edge nanofibre technology and electro-adsorptive processes to deliver pristine, safe, and great-tasting water. The filter contains PAC (powder activated carbon) centre. Twin layers of Nano fibre with a surface area of as much as 500 square meters per gram, the fibres produce an electropositive charge when water flows through them. Many impurities carry a slight negative charge and are thus absorbed by the nanoalumina. A single layer of the resulting media, though it has a pore size of about 2 microns, is capable of removing greater than 99.999 percent of 0.025 micron particles, thanks to this property.
